This is the second installment of the new Storytelling Scrutiny Squared feature, where I link to other folks who are interested in storytelling and provide information and insight, and demonstrate appreciation, attitude, or amusement.
This time I’m talking about my favorite storytelling related podcast, Writing Excuses.
The folks behind it, a lady (May Robinette Kowal) and three dudes (Brandon Sanderson, Dan Wells, Howard Tayler), do a weekly podcast. They claim its fifteen minutes long, but most run up to almost twenty. That’s still short enough to listen to it to a short commute. And lest you think fifteen minutes isn’t a lot of advice: They’ve been doing this for ten years now.
They cover all the groud that there is to writing and storytelling, and they speak with knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, and they are and extremely well colaborating team, fast, sweet and entertaining.
So, if you are trying to become a writer, or are otherwise interested in the processes of writing and storytelling, please consider to give Writing Excuses a listen!
Also, remember that you can provide your two cents via the comments!
